Who’s ready for the weekend? We have the old fire station building filled with items for the yard sale, plus have items around the station and the office in the main building filled with items. We would like to thank the community for kindly donating these items to help raise funds for WFPA at the yard sale. Walker Day is this Saturday June 17th – 11am to 2 pm (Yard Sale from 9 am to 1 pm). We have a new board member, and say goodbye to Johnny O, who has served for 14 years.

Thank You to all who participated in the Annual Meeting. There was a nice
in-person turnout as well as Proxies that sent us well beyond the minimum
quorum required.
A special shout out to the Firefighters who moved out the trucks, set up
the tables and chairs, made themselves available to answer questions then
put everything away.

Also, special thanks to the registration crew, who arrived early and stayed

There are 3 openings, with 3 current board members running for their own seats. (They didn’t say which ones.)

This year the WFPA annual meeting will be held at the WFPA Station on May
27th, 2023 starting at 9:00am.

There are currently 3 open Board of Director positions. We are excited to
announce that three of the current board members will be running for
re-election. The WFPA is also taking nominations for candidates who are
