We got a couple inches of snow last night, with temperatures into the low 20s.

Most of it is melted by the sun today, but there’s still snow on the ground.

Horse Fire Information – 10/21/2020, 7:08:18 AM

Here’s the update. Helicopters are occasionally seen flying over Walker on their way to the fire. There isn’t much smoke visible from Walker, if any.

I’ve received calls asking if Walker is in any danger. The fire is far enough away that it’s very unlikely that anything will threaten our area.

Yesterday afternoon, the smoke was huge and visible for a really long distance.

This morning, the smoke is not so much, but there are helicopters flying over Walker again.
