Walker Day is coming. Here’s the WFPA email.

Walker Day is June 15th, 2024.

We would like to thank everyone who has kindly dropped off items at the
fire station so far for the Walker Day Yard Sale!!!

Walker Day is the single BIGGEST fundraiser of the season. This event is a
giant yard sale with items that are donated from the community. Walker Day
draws people from all over including our community, Prescott Valley,
Prescott, etc.

This year’s Walker Day takes place at the Walker Fire Station on
Saturday, June 15th, 2024 – 11am to 2 pm (Yard Sale from 9 am to 1 pm).
Come join us for some good old-fashioned family fun and live entertainment
among the beautiful cool pines. Help us to raise funds for our local
volunteer fire association!

The community yard sale always has a large amount of items ranging from
antiques and collectibles to small furniture, tools, household wares and
much, much, more…

Other activities taking place are:
– Old fashion cake walk – win one of many delicious cakes
– Free face painting for kids
– Live music
– Walker Merchandise available for purchase
– BBQ Lunch – Hot Dog or Burger with chips and a soda $ 10.00 for adults
and $ 5.00 for kids.
– Classic Car Show
– 50/50 raffle drawing Walker AND MORE!

How Can You Make Walker Day A Success?
Now is the perfect time to clean out those closets, cabinets, garage, etc.
at home. Some of our residents have homes in the valley and a clean out
there can be a big help to this event. Those items that you no longer
need/want can be donated to the Walker Day event. These donated items are
then for sale at our Walker Day yard sale where all the money generated
goes to support WPFA. It is a win win for all!

Please have items boxed if possible as it assists in storing items until
the sale.

DO NOT drop off big items that typically do not sell such as appliances,
wheels and tires, washers & dryers, Stoves, couches, big chairs, box
springs, mattresses, etc.

Another way you can help is to be a volunteer for this event. Volunteers
are needed! It is a lot of fun and a wonderful way to meet new neighbors
and see some you maybe haven’t seen in a while. If you would like to
volunteer to help at Walker Day, please contact:
