Prescott, AZ March 21, 2024- Crews plan to begin working on the Lynx Mastication project in the Lynx Lake recreation area on Friday, March 23 to thin approximately 95 acres in total along the Walker Road corridor where heavy equipment will be used to grind dead and down vegetation, shrubs, and brush beneath the timber understory.

No trail closures are expected; however, visitors are asked to use caution while recreating near equipment operating in the area. Approaching such equipment is very dangerous as the operator may not see you.
