This has become the biggest day of the year in Walker. We all appreciate our fire fighters.

WFPA says:

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 2ND
4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
HELP SHOW OUR SUPPORT FOR THE FIREFIGHTERS

This will be a

FAJITA FIESTA POTLUCK

We will cook Carne Asada for the Fajitas and have tortillas, sour cream,
cheese and lettuce as well.

There will be a Salsa Competition. If you have a salsa recipe there will
be a table to use. Each entry will be given a number and the attendees can
write the number of their favorite Salsa on a card and put it in a box for
that purpose. The winner will receive a T-Shirt from the Merchandise
table. We will announce the winner at 5:30 pm.

Bring your favorite dish to share. We suggest the following formula:

Last name begins with:

A-H = Dessert
I-R = Side Dish
S-Z = Main Dish

Of course, this is only a suggestion, if you have a special dish, please
feel free to bring it!

Try to arrive at 4:00 p.m. (We will need help organizing the food)

At 4:15 p.m. there will be a short presentation and the introduction of the
Volunteer Firefighters.

Please allow the Firefighters and their families to go through the potluck
line first followed by the rest of us.
