We have yet another winter storm coming on Wednesday, scheduled to drop between a foot and a foot and a half of snow.

This is the most snow I remember getting in the 11 years that we’ve been here.

It’s relentless, but it should be over soon.

Snow showers likely, mainly before 11pm. The snow could be heavy at times. Widespread blowing snow, mainly before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 19. Breezy, with a southwest wind 18 to 23 mph decreasing to 11 to 16 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.

…WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM WEDNESDAY TO 5 AM
MST THURSDAY ABOVE 4000 FEET…

* WHAT…Rain and snow showers over higher terrain Tuesday night
will become more widespread and turn to all snow during the day
Wednesday and into Wednesday night. Southwest winds of 15 to 25
mph, with gusts from 35 to 45 mph, will create areas of blowing
and drifting snow.

* WHERE…Areas above 4000 feet near Chino Valley, Paulden,
Prescott, Prescott Valley and Seligman.

* WHEN…From 11 AM Wednesday to 5 AM MST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Patchy
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds
could bring down tree branches.

Snow forecast from 11 AM Wednesday to 5 AM Thursday:

Chino Valley 2 to 4 inches Paulden 1 to 3 inches
Prescott 5 to 9 inches Prescott Valley 3 to 5 inches
Seligman 4 to 8 inches.
