The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office has authorized a limited repopulation of certain locations in the Walker area. If you have received this message through official CodeRed notifications, then you are in an approved area. Residency in the approved area will be verified at the checkpoint on Walker Rd near the South Shore area of Lynx Lake.

Please be advised that while you may be allowed to return to your homes there is still an active fire in the area and there may be potential that you could be re-evacuated. You are therefore advised that the area remains in a “SET” status. Please stay alert for fire teams and equipment and stay out of closed areas.
