We are already looking ahead to our WFPA annual meeting. The meeting is scheduled for Saturday, May 23rd, 2020 at 9am.

One of my duties as Vice President of the WFPA, (in years when I am not up for re-election), is to to chair the BOD candidate selection committee. I, and my committee will oversee the process of fielding candidates for the 2020-21 fiscal year.

This year, we have three BOD members who’s terms are ending. 1) William Loughridge 2) Rudy Erdmann 3) Clyde McKay. All three incumbents will be re-running. If you would also like to be a candidate, please submit your bio to me for our news letter no later than March 1, 2020. Please include information such as who you are, how long you’ve lived in the Walker area, full/part time, background, what you will bring to the table, etc. Please limit your bio to two paragraphs.

Our bylaws allow for nominations from the floor on the day of the annual meeting should you miss the deadline or decide later to run. Please note that the BOD meetings are held every second Saturday of each month from 8:45am-10:00…ish. Ideal candidates should have the ability to attend each meeting.
