I’ve received this info from a couple sources.
Our community postman Ed says that due to overcrowding the Post Office is going to remove any mailbox in the 100+ mailbox row that hasn’t had mail in the past one year.
If you would like to keep your mailbox, you need to receive mail in your name.
Apparently, the plan is to remove the “no longer in use” boxes and place them on the ground below so new families can have the space for their box.
If you have questions or need more information please call the Post Office at 928-778-1890.
I once heard them referred to as the “189 mailboxes”.
I thought, that can’t be true, so I counted them one day.
There are 189 mailboxes.
