WFPA says:

The WFPA’s PANCAKE BREAKFAST is back in full force this Saturday, June 30th
at the Walker Fire Station 8:00 am to 10:00 am !!!!

Not Only Pancakes & Warm Syrup But Ham, Bacon, Sausage, Strawberries (if
Costco has them), Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, Milk and Juices, Pastries,
and Ice Cream (would you believe it, a big favorite!!!)

Everyone gets a ticket for a chance to win a prize.

Every Kid gets a Prize!!!!

There is no charge for the breakfast. It’s a free will offering and we
get pocket change from 9 year olds, $100.00 bills and everything in
between. It all counts to help provide the Firefighters with what they need
to protect us.

COME SEE OLD FRIENDS and MEET NEW ONES!!!!

While you are enjoying your delicious pancake breakfast, don’t forget to
stop at the Walker Merchandise table. All the proceeds benefit the WFPA.
If you aren’t able to make the breakfast, visit Walkerfire.org and click on
the merchandise link to see some of the items available (send requests to
merchandise@walkerfire.org)

As always we’re in need of volunteers to help put these events on. If you
have some interest in helping, please come and lend a hand.

WCAA says:

IT IS HOT, HOT, HOT!

Yes, it is hot right now but it will be a nice morning Saturday at the fire station for the pancake breakfast. It will be a perfect time to bring your unused, unloved and VERY out of style WINTER COATS. It’s time to donate them to the Walker WINTER COAT drive sponsored by the Walker Community Action Alliance. This is the ninth year that winter coats have been gather for those in need in the Prescott area. All cots donated go to the Coalition for Compassion and Justice and Catholic Charities for their warm winter coat drive.

Take one good look in the closet. There must be one coat you haven’t worn this past year. Hey, don’t forget the coats the children and grandchildren have outgrown; children’s coats are greatly needed.

If you don’t have a coat to donate you can donate $20 for the “Koats for Kids” fund. New coats will be purchased with these funds.

Please, WINTER COATS ONLY! Bring your coat, or bags of coats, to the pancake breakfast. Victoria Morhous will be there to take them off your hands.
