TODAY is our annual firefighter appreciation day/pig roast! Yeeee Haa!

September 3rd from 3-6pm. We have added an extra hour this year as it’s
also our 50th year celebration as a non-profit fire department.
WE ORDERED 6 BIG CAKES, SO BE READY TO CELEBRATE! Please carpool as our
little lot will fill up pretty fast. Walk down if possible.

Here’s a great way to thank your hard working volunteer fire fighters, and
pack in a year supply of cholesterol, all at the same time.
The WFPA will smoke the pig, simmer some beans and offer light
refreshments. The rest is pot luck style. Please bring one of grandma’s
favorite recipes as a side dish. This is one of the best attended
celebrations of the year, and it happens fast, so come early and make the
most of it. We will have music, a 50/50 drawing and lots of HOT, FRESH
Walker Merchandise available including dozens of “WALKER” wooden Christmas
ornaments that were made years ago and lost.

Walker merchandise available for purchase:
Men and Ladies apparel (T-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies)
Children and infant t-shirts
Along with many assorted Walker embossed items:
Coffee Mugs, Hot/Cold tumblers, Baseball caps, Flashlights, pens, luggage
tags, Walker Historic License Plates and many more.

If you’re unable to attend the event but you’re interested in Walker
Merchandise, send inquiries to Merchandise@walkerfire.org All proceeds
benefit the WFPA.

Seating can be limited, so please feel free to bring your own chair and
even a pop-up canopy if you want to sit in the park area.
