County Board Supervisor Jack Smith has announced the following:

There will be a Public Meeting held this Saturday Aug 5th at 3pm. The meeting will be held at the Walker Fire Station on Walker Road.

I will be joined by several county departments including public works and emergency management as well as the US Forest Service. Up for discussion is the past Goodwin Fire, an action plan regarding evacuation routes, the use and maintenance of Walker Road and Big Bug Mesa Road during emergency
operations and I will provide an brief update on County operations and budget. Bring your questions and I look forward to seeing you Saturday.

Jack reports he will also be holding a special meeting at a later date to answer questions about the maintenance of the Big Bug Road.
