Their earlier estimate of 1000 acres maybe incorrect, it is possible it is quite a bit smaller.

Air attack continues. The wind has been mild and the fire is holding.

The threat would be the it breaks the line to the northwest and headed toward Big Bug. Were that to happen it would have to go over several ridge lines to get here.

Fire moves uphill quickly and easily. It does not move downhill very easily.

It could absolutely get here but a lot would have to go wrong.
