Got this email from the WCAA.

I want to know about what they are doing to the forest on the east side of Walker Road, so I plan to be there for this one.

Oh, and there’s free food.

Ben DeBlois of the USDA, Prescott National Forest will show a Power Point – an overview of the scope of their purpose managing the Prescott National Forest. He, and his associates will describe the aspects of the timber sale (Aumlet Stewardship Project) along with future projects that are planned for our area. They will have maps and will be available to answer how fire has a role in keeping the forest healthy and how a healthy forest helps reduce the possibility of a devastating forest fire that can result in the loss of life and property.
